I’m corresponding with a seed salesperson about getting some hairy vetch seed. He says you can’t get inoculant for hairy vetch in Canada. Anybody know if this is true? How about inoculants for other legumes? I see on Speare Seeds’s website they offer “an all-purpose, easy-to-use, economical inoculant for cover crop legumes” - one inoculant for all legumes. Everything I’ve read about legumes says it’s important to use the right inoculant for each legume. What is the real story of inoculants for legumes in Canada?
